Message from the team - Newsletter October 2020

We are delighted to share with you the second edition of the INTER PARES newsletter.

Last month, we were pleased to take part in Democracy Week 2020 which took place on 14-17 September and was dedicated to the celebration of International Democracy Day (15 September).

We have some important updates on recent activities related to the partnerships. These include: a successful five-day training and dialogue on Legislative Drafting with the Parliament of Bhutan from the 3rd to 7th of August; and the commencement of work on the redevelopment of the AGORA Portal for Parliamentary Development which will host a series of Parliamentary E-Learning Courses.

Our recent communication products include: an article on the European Parliament converting to a shelter for vulnerable women during the pandemic, which is available in French and Spanish; and the second episode of the INTER PARES Podcast discussing virtual parliaments.
